Open Faced French Onion Tuna Melt

I love tuna just about any way, but tuna and tomatoes and melted cheese is just YUMMY!

Plus, this only takes 15 minutes to cook!!




What you will need:
  • 4 pieces of flat bread or naan
  • 2 cans Albacore tuna
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Best Foods mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 4 scallions chopped
  • 1/2 packet Lipton French Onion soup mix
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large tomato, sliced thin
  • sliced cheddar cheese
Open and drain the tuna. Mix with the mayo, mustard and seasonings.
Toast the flat bread or naan under the broiler.
Remove from the oven and divide the tuna among the 4 pieces of bread.



Top the tuna with the sliced tomatoes and cheddar cheese.



Place under the broiler until browned and bubbly.


Remove from the oven, cool and slice into pieces.
